The LT4 was an engine option for the 1996 Corvette, available with a manual 6 speed Trans only. SLP built some 1996 Pontiac Firehawks (Firebirds) with the LT4 engines, put them together for GM.

I don't know how many of you have read the new AHFS since it was updated but here is the line from it.
In addition, the engine family must NOT make two runs of 0.650 or quicker or any run 0.850 or quicker during the past two (2) review periods, for the review to continue. Once an engine family receives a horsepower increase it is not eligible for a decrease. I think this means you will never get hp off after a hit. how far back are they going to go, when you got Hp, I dont know where the line in the sand is, may depend on who you are? correct me if I am wrong.
