My only wish is that the NHRA brass don’t keep their head buried in the sand.....

They've been buried so long they've learned to pack their ears, eyes (and other parts) with sand and go about their merry way.

Their silence is deafening but they may be holding their breath to see if they can run the Gators during Florida's State of Emergency.

nhra has announced that the Sportsman racers will race this weekend beginning today but the Pro Show will be postponed to a later date. A decent move by nhra.

If this situation doesn't drastically improve in the near future; the rest of the NHRA schedule could be severely impacted. I am planning to attend the Maple Grove D1 race in May, the Norwalk National event in June, Indy in September, and the Dutch Classic in September; but with the current developments, I will just have to wait and see.

Bill, I Agree. I'll bet that nhra will have a new addition to their National Event Registration forms, covering the Coronavirus.

Pacific Raceways in Kent, Wa. is NOT running the T N T this weekend. Only the chassis cert is being held with very low count for that I am sure. Also, the T N T scheduled for the 21st is on hold now pending further info. Check their website for more info.

I think this will all pass, but for now wash often, avoid large crowds and Pray for a quick end to all this.

Dan,
will we have a tear down before, like the All Stars race, or will it be after the race. If we are going to run for the standard bet of $1.00 we need to make sure everything is above board. My truck is still sealed from the 60th Indy race but it's easy to pull apart. I vote to race after we come apart.

It will be fun..

We did some testing at No Problem yesterday in conjunction with their Summit race.
