Jeff, sorry for your issues. Hope things happen quicker and you can get back to your home.
Things I am doing to help pass the time. PRAY often that this passes as soon as possible. Watch movies. Read car magazines and books. Watch some older T.V. shows, comedies and others that make me LAUGH- It helps. Rearrange things in different rooms, helps keep the mind occupied - I live alone since my wife's death almost 2 years ago. Talk on the phone with friends OFTEN. PRAY, I guess I said that already, but it helps A LOT.

Built a rig for iRacing. Not quite the same as being a real car, but it's something!

I was going to add this to my previous post, but decided to make it separate.
I PRAY that all of us have a better appreciation of life after we get through this. Most of all, that WE ALL spend more time with family and friends. We need to become a more helpful and compassionate country. What do you all think?????

Hey, they'd be a lot better than the Sears & Roebuck catalog pages, that were in my grandparent's outhouses. Don't have a clue when we'll be able to buy TP here. WM was also out of LOTS of other items. Not a single egg in the store. No cans of chili. Very few common canned veggies & soup. Almost no chicken. No frozen pizza, in the popular brands/varieties. No loose russet potatoes. No pancake syrup. Very little milk left. And I could name many other items. Lowest stock I've ever seen in WM. At 7:30, our little town was a strange scene. Gas at WM & the Circle K, at our biggest intersection, was only $1.79. But, there was not one vehicle at either place, at any gas pump. At that time, the McDonald's & BK drive-thru would normally be packed. Today, there was not one single vehicle in either drive-thru. Schools are closed, along with most everything else. The only normal traffic I saw were the wood chip trucks. So, I suppose it's business as usual, for our local paper mill & wood haulers. |
