How about adding 1 day to the national events and increasing the Sportsman classes to a minimum of 100 cars at each national event? Make it a first come, first served when the race opens for credentialing. Just do it for the remainder of the year.

Due to the cancellation of divisional races, many do not have the points to race at national events. This would give an opportunity to others that do not have the necessary points, to race at a national event. Since the fees to race at national events is higher than a divisional, it would be a way for NHRA to make up some of the losses from the races that did not take place.
