My "sorry it had to be done" statement referred to having to post that the event was cancelled.

Apologies if I misunderstood.

Just seems a shame what has been allowed and then what has not been allowed lately. And the businesses that have been ruined.

But then I guess it's up close and personal for you.

Don't know about that. His Facebook site shows the car in the shop on June 6th, same shop as in the pictures last year. Even if the car was left in the US they supposedly forbid all non essential crossborder travel. I think there must be a loophole.

They have a ProMod and X275 race at Mission this weekend, no spectators allowed, cars with three crew only. Can't imagine much of a turnout if no US cars are there.

Just very frustrating right now. I am trying to do the right thing and stay healthy for my family and friends. Especially my 11 grandchildren and 3 great grand sons. I hope and pray that they all stay safe, also.

You all have a safe and fun time at races.

I agree. My hope and prayer is that as many events as possible (both local and national) can happen this year . Everyone stay safe and do what is necessary to have as much fun as possible at each event.

Looking forward to a much better 2021. Prayers for everyone for a safe rest of 2020.

One would think...the chances of getting to Phase 4 in King County were pretty slim plus the high probability that Canadians won’t be able to come (“planned” reopening July 21st is iffy and even then there may be a quarantine period to add on to that) pretty much put a nail in it. With the exception of the the two Pro shows in July at Indy (get the sponsors some time) I’d be surprised if we have nationals if NHRA can’t get their usual big gate receipts. That’s about the size of their business model.

Garage rental.. hmmm. As the sign that is still next to that field says...construction to begin in 2018.

When the go-cart track construction started it was going to be the 2nd dragstrip. It’s a go cart track. The field where the go-cart track is that used to be 15’ higher? All that went to the new runway up at the airport. I’m not sure where all the rock and gravel from the lot is going this time, but there’s a scale there to weigh the rigs coming and going.

Just like with the “new” drag strip in my opinion we’ll never see garages go in.

Funny thing is one of the reasons we can’t stack there anymore in this lot was because the neighbors were tired of hearing tow rigs drive in. Now they get to listen to gravel trucks all day long.

How about a double divisional in the Seattle Nationals place? Mission probably won't happen, Woodburn is TBD, you have 4 days open and at least we are racing out there.
