I used to use it locally in a 9 to 1 400 Pontiac. Couldn't tell the difference from C-12.
Oh yeah, I could...The price! Up until a few years ago, you could pass off Avgas as one of the approved fuels. Once that was discovered , they killed that one in a hurry.
