Ryan
Race fuels in general don't like being stored in hot locations like leaving it in the trailer week or more between races. Been there. As stated it does not store at all in plastic jugs. Been there. Race fuel does not like large changes in temp store in a cool as possible stable temp like a garage. I store it in my shop or garage, sheds can get really hot. And this one is unavoidable it really does not like being shaken as in when traveling to and from races. Whether sealed or not. VP themselves told me 5 gallon cans even if sealed are not 100% only drums are reliable. The crush seal around the spout is not the greatest.

Watch where you buy from. Large distributors buy empty 5 gallon cans and seals and package there own out of underground tanks. You have no idea how old it is. 55 gallon drums are ok.

Unrelated, but a funny fuel story nonetheless. Took a couple of fresh(to me) pails of C12 to a Div.3 race last year. Inspector told me it was the “palest” sample of C12 he had ever tested - but it passed. I was pitted close to fuelcheck, so I brought both pails over for testing; both good. He just shook his head....told him it was the Canadian brew!!
