That goes without saying, Dave was part of the "Orange shirt" gang and having him there was probably the smartest thing Ken did.

Speaking of shirts, did Ken have time to get any T-shirts made?

Marty no shirts that I'm aware of but each racer did receive the Classracer hats with each entry.
One last takeaway and I'll stop, I think NHRA should be paying attention to races like this and Dave Ley's Association races. I've wondered for quite a while what would happen with no NHRA but I have renewed hope that Stock and SS could continue without them if the right people are behind it. If we had been running regular division races this year this race probably wouldn't have been as successful. In fact it wouldn't have even took place but it goes to show we can race without them and for good payouts. Also I want to give props to Ken again, every time I saw him he was riding around on the golf cart with beautiful young girls. What's up with that! Kudos to Timothy Fletcher who came up with alot of good ideas for the give a ways I'm told. I think Tim was also one of the people pushing Ken behind the scenes to have this race.

Even though i was there in person to watch i still like everybodys reporting and
the guys that take the photos. Cooter, sounds like you had a rough go at it, with your wife being sick and all. But as you and i both know, theirs No Family Like The Racing Family to all pitch in and help out. Kudos to All of those that helped you. Ken, It was a Great Race and I'm Glad i came up from Florida to see my Favorite Categories. Hoping that you racers have more of these type races next year & years to follow.

Hey everyone, I just rolled in the door. I want to thank you all for the kind words. I have so much to say, but I will start a new thread and post later. I am working on some really cool t shirts exclusively for the Class Racer Nationals, look for them soon. They would make great Christmas gifts.
It two words guys.... GOOD TIMES! |

Had and awesome time other than I drove poorly. Hats off to everyone who worked so hard to put it all together and run the event this weekend. Thanks guys!
On a side note, is there any way to see the round by round results? Could somebody post them on here? |

This would be nice to see as there were some close races. Hopefully we can see a qualifying sheet from Sunday.
