Default Re: Mason Dixon Stock/Super stock race

I told Mike Carr I will be there to cover for him if he and Wendy can't make it. As for what cars will and will not be allowed to race; Mike always allowed Nostalgia Super Stock and the Pure Stock cars to race and I can accept that. But there was one car that I can recall from last year that was nothing more than a bracket car. If I am running things that car will not race with us. I know we want as many cars as possible, but we should hold true to what class racing is, otherwise we might just as well have a bracket race. I will admit that I am not schooled on all the classes that NHRA has now, nor all the classes that IHRA had before they closed up shop on class racing but there are enough knowledgeable racers to help me out on that. I will say this, if you have never raced an NHRA or IHRA race with your car, or you don't even know which class your car fits in or what the index for your class is, then it is not a Stock or Super Stock car. If you think you should be able to enter this race you better bring a rule book that defines what class your car is and what index it runs. And just to let you know, if you want to bitch about it, get it done on here because I am not going to this race to listen to people complain.
