Well, I just dropped it off at my tranny guy. We'll wait and see what he says is the problem this time. Probably gonna find another place to deal with, or maybe switch to a power glide. But I don't want to loose my 2-3 foot wheel stands, and I probably will with a glide. I was told Arnett is great with Stock and Super Stock stuff, but I run bracket races on a weekly basis and some Super Street events, so I put a lot more runs on the car than a Stock/Super Stock between rebuilds.

Obviously you have some problems...

But to throw shade at Stock and Super Stock trans builders will not get you much help. I guess you put over 300 runs on a tranny in a season.

Oh well🙄

Contact RPM Transmisions in Anderson Indiana. They can resolve your issue.

I would put a Power Glide in it and be done with the THM 400 once and for all.
Just make sure you use a good converter. If you are going to use the THM 400 converter make sure you send it back to update the stator because the stall ratio is different. Also use a good straight cut 1:80 planetary.
What et you lose in 60 foot you will make back up down track and should pick up some mph. As Marv Ripes from A-1 transmissions and converters once told me that 99% of all cars would benefit from using a Power Glide.
