Anyone know what happened with Dougal Thomas and Larry Maxwell in the first qualifying run? Didn't see them making a second qualifying pass. Hopefully each are ok.

Both drivers were emotionally tore up as were the cars. Larry is a dear friend and I know he put his totaled Firebird in his trailer and is home now. The GT/HA Camaro took a beating on every corner it appear to me. I had run before them and didn't see it personally. Larry said the other car started getting crazy after the finish line. The slicks I was told were locked up. Larry tried to hug the wall but got a broadside hit that pushed the door and quarter about half way into the car. That spun him head nose into the wall.

Enough of that for me and I sat out second pass.

Camaro had minor damage compared Larrys car. I didn't take any pics of either out of respect.
