I have fox body control arms on my car with Howe ball joints. My car has a lot of front end travel. The ball joint binds a maximum travel. I can't set the camber to what I need.
I don't want to take travel out of the suspension. Does anyone have a solution that they are willing to share? |

Have you tried adjustable Caster Camber plates yet? Several companies make and sell them---FED 387

That's not the problem. The ball joint won't allow enough angle to get the top of the strut to where it needs to be to get the correct camber.

They have different length ball joint studs for that ball joint assembly. The studs on those ball joints are replaceable. The part number for those ball joints is Howe P/N 22426. They have 11 different studs for that ball joint. I have enclosed the link to the catalog and go to Page 5. http://www.mydigipub.com/publication/?m=58805&i=550699 |

I think part of the problem is that the ball joint cup is out of round and not allowing the stud to fully seat. Might of been damaged in assembly or I damaged it by letting the wheel hang. I will call Howe tomorrow. |
