Some random thoughts here...
I doubt any real hemi racers would try this stunt ..On the other ,hand ,there are some weird guys here who raced Buicks ,Caddys, Omnis ,Escorts...even Corvairs, so ya never know... Ghetto squad cars... I don't think they'll let you drive one from the back seat floor ;-) I have a feeling that Chumpski fancies himself as a crew chief or machinist, who's really adept at spending other peoples money on race cars. On his own ,he probably squeaks.. Needs to take a shower in honing oil. Most folks here have a sense of humor..Some are just not happy unless their expense / possible winnings ratio is about 80 to 1 Kill this thread? What do you expect for the admission price? If it p*sses off Perrone..Leave it up forever and keep adding to it. Some need to be reminded..Billy is from Joisey.. It's like another country !

Mancini Racing still has some copies of the original Direct Connection/Mopar Neon book as well.

This photo appeared at the top of the page in the photo gallery section this morning. Mike Delahanty racing a Neon at the 2003 Mopar nationals. Not a stocker but maybe he could chime in this thread.

I sure wish there had been an Escort version....
Seems like this book would make a Neon build kinda, shall I say easy?

A 2005 SRT4 isn't in the stock car classification. You must present it as a 2004 SRT and the only class in stock is AAF/S.
You can also present it (still as a 2004 SRT) in Super Stock in SS/H,I,J, manual or automatic... Last edited by Charles Stewart; 03-11-2023 at 02:43 PM. |
