Default Re: Rules for SGMP race March 19

1. Calvin feel free to promote your own race. Your race...your rules.
2. Who said there would be no teardown?
3. This is JBD's race...they can set up the rules as they see fit. Support it or not...your choice.

Most racers race Stock and Super Stock for the challenge inserted by the rules (which include car, engine, and race conduct...as in indexes and possible heads up runs).

The conduct of the Stock and Super Stock race is becoming more like Comp, where the thought goes into the race prior to and during qualifying.

Their concern seems to be about heads up runs, as they have cars that are on the slower end of their classes.
And I'm sure there will be a ton of I & J cars there.
For a non sanction race, with no points on the line, and no tear down.
Why have heads up? With this kind of money on the line!
I know, I know, it is how it is done.
But just food for thought, for the higher ups promoting this race.
