I guess you could call this a cover...
In 1967, the Vanilla Fudge took a pop hit from the Supremes and Holland, Dozier ,and Holland, and did a psychedelic version, which came to be their trademark style, and thus opening an entirely new era to the public. RIP, bassist Tim Bogert
