If you go 1.20 under and drive by the scales, trying to cheat, horsepower is still applied. It isn't fair to other competitors that race that combination to have HP applied to that combination because they did nothing wrong. So what is fair to the racers racing these combinations?

So here are my thoughts. In comp eliminator they have personal indexes. In stock and super stock I would like to see Mr. Phillips and Mr. Summers have personal HP for 2 years. It would be like owning a record--in 2 years it expires. This way, the only people they hurt are themselves. This starts after their punishment finishes of course.
Thanks for the updates Larry. What type of engine infractions? Was it a teardown failure or something like illegal carb or something? Just curious. I don't have a horse in the race anyway.
