Flat tapper lifter Stock Eliminator?

On my Stocker I run 200/400 for spring pressure and have used the Trend tool steel lifters without breaking in with old oem springs and had no issue before.
Now I had a bad experience and don’t need another lesson ...
I ordered set of lifters from PPP today to use on a cast cam so I will install some lite springs and change to my beehives after run in stand session.
I never had an issue with schubecks/smith style lifters, but still hear horror stories of bad experiences.
