RIP Herman V Chapman
to all my old racing friends, just found out that former engine builder & Drag Racer Herman V Chapman passed away back in March. I just called & talked to Virginia for a few minutes (she is doing well) She said Herman had been in the Hospital a couple weeks with Heart troubles & that his heart just gave out on him!! I'm so glad that a few years ago when Danny Dalrymple passed that I called & told Herman the news & we talked for about an hour on the phone. RIP Herman!!!

If you were around Division 5 during the 60s and 70s you knew Herman, even if only by reputation. Sad to lose a decent man and great competitor. RIP.
