Norwalk Stock winner and Runner up

As John and I talked after the race, this was one of those weekends that you could ever image would come together. John and I are good friends and usually travel to the races and pit together. And we did that this weekend.

When we looked over the ladder on Saturday, with John on the left and me on the right, we joked how cool it would be to meet in the final. And as we went through the rounds we came to realize that just might happen.

A couple of interesting facts …..3 of the last 4 cars in Stock were Great Lakes Stock/Super Stock Association racers….and their combined ages were just over 200 years.

GLSSA Racers are good and Old Guys still can get it done!

Finally, thanks to Summit Motorsports Park for providing the best possible facility and customer service that a racer could hope for.

Kent Hanley over Santangelo….both of whom are having great years. Going to be a dogfight for the championships this year. Can you say “let’s load up for the Western swing?”
