A few years ago Allstate Ins. tried this "mommy minder" gizmo that you plug into the o.b.p. port that would monitor how you drive to help you save on ins.costs.Gee, had a couple of them, but they never worked for some reason.Now, if big brother wants to read mileage off e.c.m.s don't know what to do.We get messages from Dodge about our '18 Durango while it is our steel sided pole barn.John Kissel

The problem is that electric vehicles don't pay a highway fuel tax, they should be hit with this tax and leave the rest of us alone.

Exactly! Up here in the NW if you want to convert to propane (high octane fuel for an old high compression truck) you get hit with I think 2 different taxes.
