Seem to recall the Summit teams tried that very same game last year, but without the desired result.

They were pretty open about it on TV tonight. Anderson even said he started the whole thing. Only one that was really obvious was Coughlin shutting off for Erica.

You might also recall that Erica slammed Greg’s “unsportsmanlike” conduct in trying to play the ladder game in hopes of helping Line’s championship bid. I always had a lot of admiration for Erica’s perseverance in climbing to the top of PS but her attitude the last couple of years has been disappointing. For literally decades KB racing has always played the game hard and fair, some of that of course is from Greg working with WJ so many years and then when you add Line in the mix it’s pretty much always will stay that way. Dallas Glenn is continuing in that tradition, was sorry to see Bo joining the “dark side” for next year.

Don’t think Troy would fit in the Lambeck diving trunks, Elite must have several pair in the trailer.

The KB team has never as far as I know never laid down to let the racer with the opportunity to win the championship get a free pass round so the championship would be easier, since it would be a sacrifice run. Jason Line took out Greg Anderson when Anderson was Number 1 at the time and it cost Anderson the championship that year and Erica ended up the champ. As far as qualifying to get to the right position, so you can race , and gamble, to take out the other race team racers, I don't see a problem. Arron Stanford red light with a .014 against Glenn, and Stanfield is part of Elite. Butner was part of elite, and it looks like he ran hard with a .056 lite against Erica, but the powerplant is supplied by Elite. Second round Erica has to take out McGaha, which was a race. And third round she races couglin, who was quicker in previous rounds, but he slows. It pretty obvious to me. I booed the tv when couglin lifted against Erica. Final was a race, but Erica did not have the power. Yes Elite, to me is buying racers under the elite umbrella, to lay down when they race Erica, so Elite can get the championship. Pomona will be very interesting

"Ladder manipulation" happens. Sportsmen and/or pros. 'MAYBE' the lily white pink car jumped out of gear while leading. But for Erica to come on national TV and deny, deny, deny-she could be a politician. Also hilarious for her to say 'what we have can't be bought'. EVERYTHING at Elite can be bought!! Sue me....

A competitor can chose to lose anytime they want. I do not believe fix was on because Erica had a .016 light. She would have been later than that if she was in the know. just my 2 cents

Crazy thing, it's been happening for years....this just happens to be the latest news that has everyone talking and saying how they don't think it's fair....funny how nobody mentioned how Eddie K. lost "oil pressure" against Angelle 2nd round of PSB to give her a bye-run. I see it happen all the time when team cars are involved in the sportsman ranks, boss man is in the hunt for a win or championship and ladders work out that they run the "team car" in the semis or finals and it turns into a bye run for the main car. Just how things work out and why you invest in a 2nd car for times like that. It is what it is....

Please explain to me why Eddie would do that?
