Default Re: AMC roller lifters

They look like Very old Comp lifters.
I have not had a roller cam AMC in many years but the two lifters I used were Comp and Crane .
Lots of choices now that .904 lifters are available with pushrod oiling and in many different oil band locations , but I would only use them if not bushing the lifters.
I used to bush the bores with the oil feed hole located to match the oil band of a small block Chevy lifter with a .842 body and a .750 wheel due to the small base circle on the cam i was using and also used Ford tie bars.
Now that Jesel and T&D have high ratio rockers I would bush the bores to decrease oil loss and go with a conventional base circle,. But still use the SBC bore lifter to maintain an optimum oil gally diameter
