I had to save this one for the Two-fer, but happy birthday to Emmylou Harris, last Saturday...She's got a few days on me but not many ;-)
Strange as it may seem, I can't stand modern country music but here she is , doing what Gram Parsons called Cosmic American Music.
"Discovered" by GP at a folk club in DC, he signed her up to back him on his final two albums...He sure knew how to pick 'em

This one features singer ,songwriter, and musician, and former Hot Band member ,Rodney Crowell
