Wink 3.8 Chevy/Pontiac

Granddaughter wants to build her 2002 Camaro into bracket car but with her 231 V6 that is in her car. I have been out of racing for years. What convertor, transmission ,tire and gear ratio and header would you consider. Basic a stock application but probably will never get to travel except close in Mississippi, Louisiana. Thanks for any help. Thanks Larry

Good morning Larry,
Why not let her race just what she has there. Before getting involved in spending a bunch of money, see if she can turn on a couple of "Win Lights" doing some Bracket racing locally and if her enthusiasm grows, then take her to a National Open or a Division race and see if the gets her interest? Right now she is like a book that needs the pages filled in, and you can guide her along that path. My Cousin did something similar with his youngest daughter and she raced a few times, then decided to go in a different direction. No problem, but it was something they did together and she still talks about it. A special time for both!
Get it some thought and see how that works out. Enjoy the adventure.

Respectfully,
Henry Kunz 1534 H/SA
