According to the current rules, the new X body must be exact to the stock body. That rule left Pro Stock about 1988.

They have decided to stay with the original rules and go with the steel roof and quarters. After they delayed and confused the car builders maybe we can get back on track. We still have to wait on a carbon stock style front clip because no one makes a stock appearing one.

Was told by a chassis builder that NHRA rescinded the carbon bodies and reverted to the steel roof and quarters.
