I was going to recommend a consult with Billy Nees.. BUT, it kinda sounds like he's been there, done that...

Greg, at REF in Kingman, AZ says: they work for low comp. motors. not so good on higher comp. he said the 305/307 Chevy and small Olds engines would be OK, but not at real high RPM. [although, I dont know what high RPM would be in those]
