I have a 72 Camaro. the front eye is 10-3/8" from floor the rear eye in a slider mount is 17" from floor. to get the ride height I needed a 1-1/2" lowering block between the spring and the rear axle housing with 28.5" slicks. The spring is a 225lb. Landrum parabolic mono leaf. Car weight with me and 3/4 tank of fuel is 3150. Your results may vary. Dan

Dan, help me understand, why did you choose Landrum over Calvert springs?
And do you run Caltracs or something else? |

I do use Calvert bars along with Koni Double adjustable shocks. I don't have quite as much horsepower as your speaking of using. But I have run 6.31 in the 1/8 and a best 60' of 1.37 with a flat top 421 on pump gas with a little VP Octanium. the cam is a rather mild 260/268@.050 .675/.645 lift . The car was built as a 6.40 and slower bracket racer. |
