Default 1967 plymouth gtx 440 cylinder heads.

Just curious. With all the heads listed that would need modifications in order to be used, except the 915, I don't understand why the 516 head should not be listed, with the only modification of using the correct 1.74 exhaust valve in place of the 1.60 valve it comes with. I'm sure I'm missing something. But it don't make sense to me.

The 915 head is far better for stock, the 516 is an earlier head. A superseding head is typically if not always a newer head.

The 915 flows way better in our experience!
You could spend thousands on the 516 and it would
not be any better than a virgin 915.

Thanks guy's, I didn't know any better. Thought the valve size was the only difference.

The 67 GTX 440 is a pretty good combo especially.
with the 49 state 750 Carb.

I thought it might be worth a try. Was planning on using the edelbrock 1407 and it will be a stick shift car.
