10 or more years ago I had a pair of Turbo Start 16V in my Hemi car, never had an issue. After 6-7 seasons I sold them to a bracket racer (still probably using them) and bought a new pair of Turbo Starts - they were junk after 2 seasons. Looking for something else.

rock batteries are far from the best. What is the best with the Rock name on it is their the battery charger, same charger as the Moroso and both manufactured by Interacter https://interacter.com/

Does anyone make a 16v load tester? What usually happens is the battery will show 16v but by the time I get to the starting line two batteries will barely have enough to crank and make a run. Voltage but the amperage is gone.

if your batteries are only showing 16v when fully charged, they're done and need replacement.

My Turbo Start 16V battery would get so hot you could barely put your hand on it. I scraped them out soon after.
