With all the major tracks lost over the past few years (Etown, Atlanta, Houston, ATCO, Denver, Sacramento, Fontana, Chicago (only NE held there) to name a few) when do you think it might be time to look into restructuring the Divisions? I mean you could easily split into 8 and drop the blocker from the All Stars. The middle of the Mid Atlantic could become its own Division with the Rock, VMP, Charlotte, Galot, could add Bradenton, Bristol and Montgomery back to D2 and maybe rework the other Divisions. I know it’s probably not as easy as it sounds but, maybe it’s time.

With the loss of the Atlanta track in D2 i would like to see a 2nd national and divisional at Gainesville later in the season when the weather cools down a bit. Maybe in late October. Gainesville is a premiere facility and also popular with the racers. Make it a double with the national and divisional on back to back weekends like the gators and baby gators. I am sure the response to that would be huge.

As far as more spectators go that is up to the track operators and promoters to figure out how to get more butts in the stands. Tracks that are in the areas where there is a lot of people should be able to draw a bigger crowd with some better promotion. We have a good show. The Track operators dont seem to do their part in getting more paying customers in the gates. They seem to be happy with the racers paying their way. This is obvious because you can see the tracks have moved more to test and tune than actual racing. Some tracks only race one or two times a month. Having a great announcer that can explain what is happening on the track is also important. Good food at a reasonable price and clean bathrooms is also important to spectators especially for women.

Mike I thought for sure we would have seen a second Natty in Gville already. The "Southern Gators" a few years ago seemed very popular when they moved Atl to Gville in September.

Why doesn't Bradenton host a divisional or a national?
