Default Biggest Announcement in NHRA History

While many are not fans of Tony Stewart this announcement was big for NHRA.
The article I’m referring to was read in Drag Illustrated, the announcement should be seen as a positive for the sport we love.
Just consider the numbers. NHRA has 1.7 million followers on Facebook, ESPN 22 million, USA Today 10 million and TMZ 7.8 million plus all the other news outlets.
So what I’m leading to is Classracer’s need to put entergy in NOT going NHRA but put that entergy towards these news outlets.
Bobby Fabio and others are great ambassadors promoting The Car Show.
Look how many watch Barrett-Jackson, Mecum and others just to see that Car Show. So if the ClassRacer can get these avenues interested in Class Racing the numbers are endless.

I for one, think the people watching Barrett Jackson, etc. are people who are interested in seeing the numbers $$$$. No body wants to sell cheap if there's more money on the table or for buyers who couldn't make the auction but might bid (phone).

While I felt NHRA overhyped this announcement to the fans, it turned out to be a much bigger deal than I first thought.

It was covered by all the major news outlets and I saw that overall the message had billions of views.

None of the announcements that many of us had in mind would have gotten anywhere closes to this much coverage.

I don't see anyway this is bad for the our sport.

My $.02
