I'm out of the hospital, drove home this morning. No real pain, they believe the problem is now resolved. Can't work too much for the next week or two. But I can enjoy Christmas with family and friends.
It's not been a fun 18 months. But there are many others who have suffered more, lost more, and struggled more. I am truly blessed, and truly grateful. We're winning this one, round by round. Once again, thank you to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

Alan, sounds like you could be an example to us all. Adversity hits and you come away grateful that it wasn't worse. God bless you and have a great time with family and friends as you recover.

Thank you, but I'm not that great an example. I just figure that being happy, and grateful, is a choice. It's the only way to win this. Yes, the last 18 months or so haven't been easy. But I have had a few high points in life, and despite this battle, I'm still having some high points, and if things keep going this way, I'll have plenty more.
