Well you will have to spill the beans or just go away,
I have dealt with John on a trade and was very happy. He helped me get an 8-3/4 center section and went out of his way to see that it got to me through other racers bringing it to a race. We are pretty far apart. Even offered a race ride if I ever came out that way. What more could someone do????

I wonder if this has anything to do with the "Thermoquad" post?
I've done carbs for people that call me 2,3, even 4 years later thinking that carbs never "dry up" or have had "junk" pumped through them in a dirty fuel system.
I've yet to hear anybody else complain about him.
