Just started getting involved with dirt cars. The IMCA and street stocks take the top 3 after race and tech them what they wanted to see. One night it was all 4 shocks, go no go gauge in 2 barrel carb was used once, front spindles and heads have to have IMCA stamped on them. For a 200 to win they are getting checked pretty well.

Running a Limited Modified and some tracks do not look at much, others look at everything, especially in big money races we can expect to take a head off, carb inspection, suspension etc...

And they also take a coupon of our Hoosier Dirt tires and test it for doping or mysterious substances on the tires (Mainly right rear)

Devin Moran is a local kid. I grew up watching his dad Donnie. Donnie goes to our church. His family owns Zanesville speedway and both those kids jumped in late models when they were in diapers. Devin was just tossed because of doping his tires. He's been winning lately and they busted him. I don't know how the penalties work, but it made all the papers.

Jeff
I follow all 3 drivers that had tires in violation, hate to see this but all racers have been warned many many times about this. All I can say is their tires coupons taken (3) came back with violated integrity of their tires. They tested 3 samples off of tires on 67 different racers and these 3 racers tires did not pass. Huge fan of all 3 drivers. A.J. Foyt once said "you ain't cheating till you get caught". LOL

Here is video of CEO of world of outlaws address this.

Nhra doesn’t have the time or man power to tear people down
Also the 130 under is the new automatic teardown why is that
So there is Less teardown of competitors
There rules to live by

NHRA does not want to invest into their infrastructure with more experienced tech officials. That money might take away from the higher up bonuses!

INTEGRITY is the issue, especially when money is on the line.

Apparently there was a rumor going around Gainesville that a racer at the ProSuperStar race who qualified well was extremely light. Really , if this is in fact true names should be named! Some people have no Integrity. This was a chip draw race...why would a racer do this? If this is done at this race what else are they doing?

EXACTLY...Should this rumor be true, only someone of low morals and lack of self respect would do such a thing...most likely the person is an lifelong under achiever regardless of social status. Most people who cheat stem from jealousy and an incapability of success via hard work and dedication. Pushing the limits of the rulebook "living in the grey" has been the backbone of the evolution of performance based classes; however taking out an access of weight/ballast while having the knowledge that the scales are not being used is just a POS move. IMHO

Mr. Perrone, that is exactly why I came up with this suggestion. It is easier
than what NHRA thinks they have to do when the word teardown is mentioned. I thought maybe we could have a few more of these as opposed to nothing at all. Primarily, Indy is the only place where teardowns happen now, and I hoping we could enhance that. At least it may help the honesty
quotient higher.. I believe 95 % of us are legal. 100 % of us do scream
foul when somebody runs a number that is faster that we think it should
be able to go. I'm just trying to lower the anxiety level.

Why not inspect the heads up winners, the rest don’t mean a hill of beans with a dial in race. The car could be 500 pounds light with ported heads etc. he still gotta run the number on the windshield. How many extra tech guys is needed then?
