Hey guys, I'm still at the track, but did not run the Open. The finals are coming up soon. I'm trying to get my editing done. Here are some photos from the Wednesday action...

Some more thoughts about the Class Racer Nationals. I can't thank all of you enough for the support, the track prep was excellent. So many people were thanking me for a great race, they all were happy they way it was run. It is a shame we could not get the Top 8 finished, but all of the top 8 drivers were okay with the call. I have to thank Mark Dawson the D1 director, we were able to get the finals in on Thursday... D1 is in good hands for sure.

All the sponsors that stuck with us through the years are one of the reasons we were able to put this race on. Testo, the title sponsor, Biondo Racing, Oakes Landscape, Gutters By Design, Weldon High Performance, California Car Covers and ATI. I know its sounds like commercial here, but these guys are big supporters of Class Racing and need to be mentioned.

Another big thanks to Dave Ley, having him here gave the Class Racer Nationals a legit and honest race for Stock and Super Stock, it would have been a nightmare without him. Curt LaShure, D1 tech official also help out Wednesday before the D1 race, big thanks Curt!

Finally I have to thank the DiMino family. The track prep and staff are first rate. Guys, if you have never raced here you owe yourself a trip to Numidia Dragway.

With all that being said... The Class Racer Nationals was an overall success... I hope we can do it again next year. I will be back in a few days with more photos.
