You didn't read the bill. Do you know how many port of entries there are in this country, do you know the rules for asylum, do you know that the bill dictated the number people that can be received each day. Do you know the President can not stop asylum seekers. Trump?s effort to stop asylum seeker in 2017 was dashed, the Courts concluded that barring migrants who enter outside of designated ports of entry from seeking asylum violated federal immigration law, international law and ?the expressed intent of Congress.??Whatever the scope of the President?s authority, he may not rewrite the immigration laws to impose a condition that Congress has expressly forbidden,? That said, let Congress do their job and pass immigration reform. If you have a problem with that call your Congressional representative.
