This went on for a year and a half and clearly an NHRA tech mishandling of the situation which affects all of us. Why they chose to save face now is anyones guess. Seeing the lack of integrity displayed by too many racers and NHRA's refusal to enforce the rules , I do believe in what Geoff did. United we stand, divided we fall. Kind of reads like the rules and tech inspectors may not realize that when the pulley on the back end of the jackshaft is bigger it means more overdrive even if the 32 and 34 tooth pulley counts are still correct.
