there can be only one explanation-when the lights come on it activates the
antigravitational thermal nano- magnets in the driveshaft which upon reaching warp speed will accelerate the car forward at 1/ten trillionth of a millisecond and this in turn will cause enormous G Forces on the driver until they turn the lights off. |

I'm pretty sure they run cow magnets on the infeed fuel line, someone out there should look into that feature as a method of cheating also.
