I have been at Fastshocks when all brands, specifically Afco, Koni, Penske were disassembled for rebuilding. Shock oil and seals go skunky after time, some sooner than others. Unless there is mechanical breakage, a shock slowly wears out, and you may not notice a drop in performance. I believe road miles are harder on the shocks than racing. A service on your shocks, especially this time of year, is as important as any other aspect of your updates and maintenance. For most racers, it may not be needed every year, but something to consider. Dyno.

I see that both the Super Stock and Stock Lucas Oil champs were using Randy Mans Fastshocks, just sayin.

I looked at this post because I just bought a S/S car that has Koni struts in it and I thought I might learn something from it . I've never run S/S before but I have been drag racing for 45 years and always wanted to do this. Finally went for it and got a car. Been on class racer for a few years and think it's a awesome place. Then I see this and 1320 just keeps knocking everybody down. I help a friend on his comp car and Randy Mans has been a super guy! I like a previous post about world champs running Fast Shocks. I know that I will be able to get in touch with Randy and figure something out. Just can't believe the negativity of one guy. I'm sure he'll respond to this and tell me what an idiot I am.

I put 1320racer on the "ignore list" and this has made reading on Class Racer a much more enjoyable time. I recommend it for everyone.

I had never had good shocks,so when the time came..I was talking about shocks and Randy's name kept coming up without me asking who....Randy helped me alot..
I have his shocks and springs ( he recommended) all the way around my stocker..
took 3-4 weekends to get shocks, clutch etc. in the ballpark.. I now can change shocks and actually see changes..
Excited to race it in 2025 LORD willing
I highly recommend Randy

The thick black line with white letters just above the posts - click on "USER CP" then go to "settings", then "edit ignore profile" and add anyone you want to ignore. Make sure you update it when you're done.
