Yeah, I was about the only 1 left he had not been to war yet with, my turn was coming. But, my last race week at Thanksgiving racing against a lot of quite fast cars turned out so favorably, that I have fully embraced the slow go, as long as I turn on lotsa win lights.
Beg Edly is the very least of my worries today. Jon & John Irving I am headed your way the end of this month sirs as I need a trailer soon to hook up to an F-150 in my garage. I'll give you a call unless you are going to test in Vegas on the 24th. As soon as I figure out the last few wires of the ignition and fire it up on the Terminator X and start the learn sequence I am going to be tap, tapping a new tune and dancing a little bit faster this year I hope. So, even Ed cannot dampen my 2025 spirits. 7K RPM shift points are going to be sweet to accomplish and work up to. I am the most nocturnal night owl who hates 8:00 AM starts....Unless it is a race day. Heck, it is now 6:08 AM, been working on the racecar and truck all night and now am ready to go to bed. Good night Ed...lmao. "Slow Ride...Take it easy..." Anytime you want to shoe polish race Ed (yeah I know you have a fast car with all the electronics, maybe you might wanna come out for the Spring Fling?) Maybe put a little cash behind that fast mouth of yours.

There is nothing like being the first pr. out there to qualify in crisp cool air though and knowing no matter how cold it is outside you are going to hook hard on that freshly prepped track.
But, then again I can hook my turtle up in a snowstorm. And Ed, think really hard about your response please. It was meant for you specifically in the driver's seat (not your Son), because if you can't beat someone doing just over 60 in the 8th, or just under 80 in the 1/4, they will laugh at you for the rest of your days. 2 of 3, 3/5...we can even hot lap em w/ 10 min turnarounds. After 5 I'll need to actually add fuel.

You don’t get best 2 out of 3 at any event and you’re not going to get it when you stage your junk against me! $1,000 for one shot, now put up or shut up!

Also, unrelated note, stop saying you have a SS car. You have a former SS car. It's cool and probably still has most if not all SS parts it needed to be legal minus the power-train combo, don't get me wrong, but you you saying you have a SS car is like saying my RX7 is a rotary car. Sure, the car had a rotary in it at one time, but it's a long way from that anymore.

I won’t and I do.
My car is a purpose built, legal Super Stock car.

WRONG! Not one has ever shown up no mind put money up and staged their car, not one!
Again, I’m easy to find every week during the season. If we’re not racing at our home track. we’re racing at one of the flings or LODRS events.

While I know you from here & our home track, I don't know you personally. As for his 1K challenge, don't bother; he chicken shytted out one challenge I know of. There was a 10k wager with 1320racer & another prominent bracket racer for a race during the Spring Fling Million around 7 years ago. He reneged on the wager. He never intended to show up to the race & backed it up by not showing up. Don't waste your time with your challenge or his "$1,000 for one shot". He will find a way to weasel out on the money. Pay attention to his wording or lack of. It doesn't state him putting up $1,000, but implies you have to "for one shot". Do as you wish with the challenge or whatever you wish to call it. I've been racing the Spring Fling Million for 7 races out of 9. I go to learn from the best in bracket racing with the intention of competing well with the thoughts of winning one of the races. 1320racer is far from the best & is a bottom of the barrel racer. He's known for being a 1st round DUCK. Leave the keyboard dribble/drama here & remember it's Cheap Entertainment. Funded by1320racer. 1700/781L ![]()
