That's a much nicer way of saying what my friends said, in respect to him. I stated AHRA, but meant to say ADRL. Brain fart and too focused on the ##RA stuff apparently.

Again, the IHRA has been a clown show for the last 20 years with numerous owners so why would anybody think this time is going to be any different especially with this guy at the helm?

Thats is what I heard from a few racers, and read quite a few threads about that subject. I'm very curious to see how it works out this time.

I think the most interesting thing here is where will they run these Nitro Jams? Not many good tracks in this area are IHRA, some of the better ones have gone with WDRA that aren't NHRA. Will be interesting to say the least but they seem to have plenty of money backing this venture judging by the Facebook posts that I have seen.

Maybe so, but a $5million sponsorship is definitely a step in the right direction lol. Who knows where that money will end up, but it's hard to argue with at the moment.

They've been posting that they've already sold many many new memberships just in the last few weeks since PRI. Judging by this image IHRA posted, it looks like they've sold around 900 memberships since the event. I'm not sure exactly how much a membership is, but if it's $100 or so, that's $90,000.

Time will tell but history says it will fail again and it doesn’t help that the guy running it has a shady rep .

They posted about "possibly" going back to Memphis but, just looking at the pics I've seen of the track, it's going to need A LOT of work to get it back up and running to it's old self.

Do they still own that track or did some holding company buy it? It was a nice place to race but the video posted on Facebook looked like it would be a big investment to get it back in shape.

Its wild to me that IHRA only has a little over 2000 members
