If you don't think running class is important, I know of a couple of racers at the Dutch Classic last year who prepped their cars specifically for class eliminations. After class run offs, they went home and did not even run in the eliminator. (and left with Wallys).

I would love to see more class eliminations, being a
performance based class I wouldn?t be opposed to having class at all events as these cars stock/superstock are more thoroughbreds than workhorses!
