Default Dallas Sportsman pits

Can anyone tell me if the Sportsman pit area at the Dallas Motorplex are still just gravel pits? Have they been updated, or is it still just a dust bowl area?

They have added Asphalt roads out there in the pits, but you still park on the gravel. However them adding the roads cut down a ton of the dust. Nothing like it use to be.

They poured something in the back 40 not sure what it is but I don?t think it?s asphalt it was a big improvement BUT by the third day in those pits everything you own will be completely covered in the nastiest dust you?ve ever seen . Hopefully they will keep adding pavement it?s a great track but the sportsman pit area is bad.

For those who know; What would it cost to pave the Sportsman pits? And would the N.H.R.A. support a percentage of that cost?
