Jeff Foster is correct. Once you pull onto the track it is locked in. If you only have a partial dial in on your car, you can't finish it on the track. Say you already had 10.6 on the window you can't add the final digit to the dial in,say to make it 10.68, it stays as 10.6 . Watched this happen at Gainesville points meet to Woodro Josey. The guy he was to race tried to finish his dial on the track.
