Well, I don't know that Cayuga was booted from NHRA. They certainly switched from NHRA to IHRA, but I don't know that NHRA officially told them 'we don't want you in our organization anymore'.
I don't know what the criteria is to be an NHRA or IHRA sanctioned track, but my guess is that its probably not much. If you have a track, you pass a marginal safety inspection, and pay NHRA or IHRA to be part of their group, you're probably in.
Plus, Cayuga is a totally different track now than it was when it was still NHRA sanctioned. I'd be very surprised if NHRA said 'No' to their request to go back to NHRA. I don't believe they are asking...I'm just saying IF they DID ask...
