As Chris said, Draw tite with the 1,000 pound bars. I tow a 7500-8000 lb
travel trailer and no sway at all behind my '04 F350 Diesel with the 700 lb bars. My open 18 ft dove tail car tailer is much lighter and I don't need the bars for it, but have used them some of the time.
