It could be a marine manifold. I worked on a boat around 1970 that had a 327 inboard with an aluminum manifold and an AFB carb. I remember there being extra vacuum fittings on the manifold. It was not significant enough for me to look at the casting number at the time, so I cannot verify it. I remember the engine also had solid lifters and a dual point distributor because I did a "tune-up" which included new plugs, points and valve adjustment. I just thought it was a weirdo marine combination.
