Default Re: 1969 Ford Cleveland heads

I just looked up the guide to see how close I was. (blueprint guide won't open at work)
ALL 4BBL HEADS ARE 2.19!! I don't care what the guide says as obviously it's wrong. I used to run 454 chev valves in my heads because in the early eighties the chev's were like $4.00 a piece and the fords were $12.00 or something like that. I had D1/D2/D3 heads, if they were 4 bbl, they had 2.19's.

Has nobody run a 73 cleveland? How come this has never been protested or the issue been raised?

Yes the 2bbl's were all 2.05's x 1.65 (guide shows 1.66) The 2.09's have longer stems heehee same diameter stem though.
