Sean, if it was a ride height issue, he wouldn't have been kicked out of earlville. I talked to him a lot, and it is one part of the suspension, its got to be replaced or somehow make the tech dept happy

Joe, when did this happen? And what generation of the Weibe suspension is he using? The older stuff has been out there a while, and NHRA told me it was legal. I have not seen the new pieces he has for the upper suspension, and I don't know anyone who has been through tech with it.

The problem started at bir then finished up at earlville where nhra made the decision. I think it may have something to do with that wishbone piece on top. Kevin says it has to be changed to make them happy. If you have that suspension better check what has to be done, i t sounds like they are going to check in div 5, i talked to a tech guy.

I don't have it, yet. A Chevelle will most likely be my next race car, and Weibe suspension is what I plan on using. I will certainly keep an eye on the situation to see how it develops. Kevin Borgstrom's car has been one of my favorites for some time. I have a serious soft spot for a 69 Chevelle 427/425, a friend, Harry Vineyard, had one years ago that he ran in B/SA, and Tucker Parrish drove it some in A/S. That's a car even my wife wishes I'd bought!

Alan, Harry's Chevelle was also one of my favorite cars of all time and always wondered what happened to it after Harry moved to SS, any idea?.

Does anyone know just exactly how many different cars that Tucker Parrish drove?
Thanks,

Jimmy, Harry offered the car to me, but I bought my POS house instead. Like I said, even my wife wishes we'd bought the Chevelle. Mark Allessio bought it, and painted it silver. He was evidently never happy with it, and sold it. I heard the car has been painted again, and is in Ohio or Kentucky. I talked to Harry at Bowling Green, he had the Camaro out again, but I didn't ask him about the Chevelle.

Bob, I have no idea. I think he still runs brackets some with a Corvette. That old SS/M Chevy II wagon was stout. And he could drive Harry's Chevelle when they put the 4 speed in it. That car was always fast and fun to watch with the automatic, but boy Tucker put on a real show in it.
