I was trying to address John's specific question and remain in a "Helpin rather than Sellin" mode!

The site does provide very good technical information but reading it at length can be, shall we say, less than exciting! If you really want to have a good time, sit down in the lunch room with a few of the filter performance engineers and listen to their treatise. I assure you that you'll be looking for the remote to see who's guest starring on Love Boat pretty quickly!

We design, engineer and manufacture the filters. At this time, we have not produced a base/lid although we are considering a design. We can produce any size and shape filter and universal application selections will increase over the coming months. The 14" round series can be produced in any height. Standard are the 3",4" and 5" tall filters. I'm sure a bias exists but I do agree with your statement that indicated "the lack of intelligent, efficient filters available."
